What is Cast Stone?

Cast Stone is calcium carbonate (limestone or marble) reconstituted. Sandstone is the same with silica sand added as it is in natural sandstone. When hydrated and cured it is essentially the same as natural stone with more durable properties. Note: A white deposit (Efflorescence), also known as lime bloom, may appear on the surface of a product containing limestone. This is temporary and will disappear as a result of normal weathering.

Are they weather durable?

Under normal conditions they are very durable and will last for many generations only getting better with age. However, under extreme freeze/thaw conditions if there is water present it is advisable to bring them indoors.

Are the sculptures surface sealed?

We don't seal them because it inhibits the natural aging of the stone. Most people prefer this but if you would rather seal them there are several products avaiable for this purpose. A spray on silicone sealer would be a good choice.

Can I hang them on a wall or fence?

Most pieces have a hole pre-drilled on the back . Simply put a screw of appropriate size into the wall or fence at a slight upward angle and hang the sculpture (see fig. A to the right). Or you may want to place them right in the garden as a focal point or a surprise find along the path.

What is your returns policy?

If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it within 14 days of purchase. Your money will be refunded (less shipping costs) provided there is no damage. If your purchase was received damaged please report it to us and the shipper immediately and retain all materials including packing for damage inspection.
