The Mother’s Day Paint In show last Sunday at Hatley Castle couldn’t have been better. The sun shone all day creating some striking shadows on our cast stone sculptures.
There were crowds of people out and about, all enjoying the day.

And some who came by and pointed out sculptures that they liked… although it looks like one didn’t quite get it.

I did manage to find a break from talking to potential mosaic students and gardeners in need of a sculpture, to gad about and see the other booths. And of course, couldn’t resist treating myself to these beauties. OK I don’t know their proper names, but, hey, I’m an artist, I only bought them for the color and their gorgeous looks.

The faces are interesting, but the succulents are works of art, too! It looks like you had a good turn-out for the show.
aloha,
it looks like a nice sunny day to enjoy a faire, thanks for taking us there and i didn’t even have to spend a dime
Eric’s work is so striking, and the background display board really enhances there sculptural qualities. I’m thinking Italian gardens, yep, just you wait Eric…
